Sustainable use of forest harvest and industrial residues for the second generation biofuel production.
Main Objectives:
- To estimate plantation harvests and forest industry processes residues availability.
- To characterize and determine the chemical composition for bioethanol production from plantation harvests and forest industry processes residues.
- To develop regulations for sustainable extraction of forest harvest residues and mitigation actions and environmental impact based in the development of biomass estimation functions and nutrients taken in a gradient of conditions of soils fragility and extractions intensity.
