Our Mission
To develop, adapt, and implement technologies related with biofuels production, such as bioethanol, bio-oil, from forest resources.
The company objectives are
- Develop, capture, adapt technologies and form human capacities that permit the implementation in Chile of a biofuels industry obtained from lignocellulosic materials.
- It is also priority for this consortium the creation of infrastructure and the realization of actions for the protection and commercialization of the obtained results.
- Generate critical mass of highly trained human capital in the area of biotechnology
by the formation of professionals, doctors and postdocs. - Establish links and cooperation networks with excellence centres abroad, which facilitate the formation, transference of knowledge and technologies to the country.
Position the subject of bioenergy in the national community.
