Welcome to Bioenercel S.A.
This consortium expects to develop a set of projects that, in an integrated manner, propose a viable alternative to the energetic problem in Chile, from the adaptation of technologies and the formation of human capacities that allow the implementation in Chile of a biofuels industry. Furthermore, Bioenercel considers the creation of infrastructure and actions for the protection and commercialization of the obtained results.
About Us
During 2008, the Chilean Government, through the Innova Chile Programme from Corfo, carried out a call denominated “National Contest of Technological Business Consortiums for research on biofuels from lignocelullosic materials”. Read more
Scale-up laboratory
Through a call for public biding, on January 23rd of 2012, Bioenercel started materializing the execution of the scale up laboratory that will allow the consortium to evaluate the process of conversion of lignocellulosic materials into bioethanol. View construction progress here.
Consortium Activities
The first Internal Seminary for the year 2013 is programed for Friday, June 5th, in the city of Concepción. The coordinators of all sub-projects, technical committee and board members will attend this activity.
